5-10 Brandon Road celebrated an important milestone for this state-of-the-art R&D facility. Kadans Science Partner and Morgan Sindall Construction were joined on the roof by representatives from across the professional and project team to celebrate the final structural beam being raised into place.
Guests were given an escorted tour of the building and invited to the roof for speeches followed by a signing of the building’s concrete parapet.
The project is due to complete in early 2024 and will provide robust, sustainable, and highly adaptable spaces to accommodate the ever-changing and wider-ranging requirements of science and technology.
Split across 5-storeys, this high specification building will serve as a platform for further collaboration and innovation within the Knowledge Quarter.
Will Fogden, Senior Development Manager at Kadans said:
“5-10 Brandon Road will provide a unique stack of CL2 labs with manufacturing space and it’s exciting to reach this important milestone in the development process. From inception, the technical specification of the building has remained a central focus and coupled with the quality of design ensures this space responds to the industrial heritage of its surroundings. It is brilliant to see the building taking shape and we look forward to welcoming a rich mix of tenants in Q2 2024”
